Charney Robinson-Williams is a Relationship Manager on the Toniic Americas team based in New Jersey. She brings to the role a deep understanding of nonprofit management and impact investing, with a focus on place-based and faith-based investing.

Before joining Toniic, Charney worked for ImpactPHL, an impact investing advocacy organization dedicated to growing the impact investing ecosystem in the Greater Philadelphia region. As the Director of Community and Content for the organization, she was in charge of bringing together impact investors and overseeing the planning and implementation of the Total Impact Summit 2022. Charney has also provided event management and overarching strategy to impact organizations like SOCAP and Impact America Fund.

Charney’s commitment to social justice and racial equity is rooted in her work with Make Justice Normal (MJN), a growing collective that gives mission-driven organizations the chance to create radically different systems to make justice normal. As a Collaborator with MJN, Charney helps to develop and execute systems that advance equitable organizational and financial frameworks and champion power shifting principles.

Charney is also an active member of her local branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Color People (NAACP), where she serves as 1st Vice President.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies and Political Science from Rutgers University.
