Patience Marime-Ball has a 17-year track record in structured investments and 5 years in early stage investments. She has extensive experience in pipeline generation, deal structuring and closings in infrastructure, distressed assets, financial markets and early stage investments.

Roles include VP Project Finance, Mizuho Financial Group and Principal Investment Officer and Global Head Banking on Women at International Finance Corporation. In 2005, Patience co-founded and was COO of Emerging Sun LLC, a company focused on business intelligence and IT-spend management.

In 2010 she developed and led the International Finance Corporation’s Banking on Women fixed income asset – 2017 portfolio was $1.56BN invested in 49 deals; and co-developed the first ever Gender Bond issued on the Uridashi market. In 2012, she co-led, with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, the $600 Women Entrepreneurs Opportunity Fund.

Patience is a Venture Partner at ATP Fund II, an angel investor and Venture Fund Advisor at Golden Seeds. She sits on the Advisory Boards of 2 companies. Patience is Vice Chair of the International Center for Research on Women’s Board. She has an M.B.A. from Northwestern Kellogg School and a J.D from Northwestern Law School.
