Jason Carter is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Tide Aquaculture, North America’s first investment vehicle focused exclusively on sustainable aquaculture. He has responsibility for the overall strategic direction and performance of the Company, as well as negotiations with prospective investment companies. Prior to Blue Tide, Jason established a background in wealth management and capital markets working with one of Canada’s largest banks. After this, he helped found Europe’s first diversified royalty finance company, pioneering the finance method with European institutional investors and completing the first three diversified royalty transactions in Europe. In 2017, he was instrumental in raising £35 million for the £3 million shell company, with the company’s top five institutional investors collectively managing >US$1 trillion.
