What Academic Analysis Has to Say About Toniic’s T100 Impact Portfolios

Toniic and The Coalition for Impact present a conversation with Falko Paetzold, Assistant Professor in Social Finance at EBS University and Managing Director of the Center for Sustainable Finance & Private Wealth (CSP) at the University of Zurich on the role of impact investors in realizing and meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.

The session features the following insights:

WHO: An outline of the personality types of typical T100 investors.

HOW: Overview of the SDGs that most capital is allocated towards by T100 participants, biases that were detected in the data, the role financial performance plays vs impact, and issues with limited diversification.

HOW: Summary of how T100 members argue for impact investing and the key role that other stakeholders seem to play.

IMPACT: Approaches that are most often chosen by T100 members, and how this matches up with studies on the depth of impact of different investments in the world.
